Keeping a proposal a secret takes a little extra planning and a lot of trust. When Oscar reached out to us about documenting his engagement to Sophie, he definitely wanted guidance and to go over his plan.
Together, we mapped out the perfect plan for a golden hour beach date. We recommended the best location at one of our favorite beaches—one that offers a stunning ocean backdrop, soft natural light, and just enough privacy to keep things intimate. A cue word was texted, so we knew to get in place for the exact moment he would drop to one knee.
The Perfect Sunset Moment
San Diego never disappoints and our favorite beach in Del Mar is just the perfect setting. The sun began to dip, casting warm hues across the sky and shimmering over the waves. As they strolled barefoot near the shoreline, Oscar turned to Sophie, took her hands, and popped the question. Her reaction? Pure joy. Tears, laughter, and the most beautiful embrace.
