We’re lucky to live and work in an area filled with stunning scenery. Whether you want the beach, a grassy field, or something more rustic, we’ll help you find a spot that fits your family’s style. Here are a few of our favorite session locations:
- San Elijo Hills – We live in this beautiful community and have a secret spot that is secluded with beautiful light!
- South Lake (San Marcos) – A peaceful place with walking paths, gorgeous foliage, and beautiful views.
- The Coast – We have a favorite spot on the southern side of North County San Diego in Del Mar. It has easy access (no stairs), ample parking (we’ve never had an issue), and a huge WIDE beach, which means it won’t disappear in high tide like a lot of beaches to the north.
- Felicita Park Escondido – This is a huge area with paths, trees, rocks and gorgeous light.
When to Book
For the best light we always shoot at golden hour, which is that final hour of light when it becomes soft and golden. Many families want to shoot in October and November for holiday cards. These months are always insanely busy, so we strongly encourage families to beat the holiday rush and shoot in August and September!
